A group of 6 students from MICC have been awarded the Garda National Youth Award for their volunteering work in Zambia. They were presented with their award at a ceremony in Portlaoise hosted by the Gardai and Mr. Charlie Flanagan (Minister for Justice).

Well done to Rose, Ciara & Chloe who represented MICC in the BT Young Scientist in the RDS. Their project was based on if Irish teenagers can acquire Irish sign langauge faster than Spanish.
This year MICC had two students from the Leaving Cert class of 2018 receiving the UCC Quercus Entrance Scholarship for talented students. Becca Hennigan who is studying Law & Business and Ellen O’Sullivan who is studying Arts International.
